SIMPLE WINTER SAFETY TIPS FOR KIDS
SIMPLE WAYS TO HELP YOU WARM YOUR CHILD'S FEET IN THE COLD WINTER
Layer up: Dress your child in multiple layers of warm clothing, including a base layer of thermal or moisture-wicking material, a middle layer of fleece or wool, and a waterproof and windproof outer layer.
Use warm socks: Make sure your child is wearing thick, warm socks made from wool or fleece to keep their feet warm.
Insulate their shoes: If your child's shoes are not warm enough, consider adding insoles made from wool or fleece to add extra insulation.
Keep them moving: Encourage your child to stay active as movement helps to increase circulation and keep feet warm.
Try hand warmers: small disposable hand warmers that can be placed in shoes or pockets to provide extra warmth.
Hot water bottle: Fill a hot water bottle with warm water, wrap it in a towel, and place it at the bottom of your child's bed before they go to sleep.
Keep the house warm: Keep the temperature inside the house at a comfortable level to help your child's feet stay warm.
Remember, if your child's feet are cold and they're experiencing symptoms such as numbness or tingling, it's important to seek medical attention.
